Scale Schweizer Sailplanes 1.5-4 meter spans

Are there any scale soaring enthusiast out here in the RCZone? We call ourselves the "Home of the Schweizer" for our line of 1:8 scale through 1:3 scale home-grown US sailplanes available as plans for scratch builders through short kits and even complete kits. I just discovered this forum and can't believe that no one is flying or talking about scale US sailplanes!

We have glass fuselage and foam wing kits as well as woodies and foamys.

Here is a photo of the LNS-1 Navy version of the TG-2, also designated by Schweizer in its short civilian life before being purchased by the military as the SGS 2-8.

Looks like the picture on the plans is of a 1-26. I had my longest flight in a real one over 3 hours with an oxy mask over Minden Nevada.
