Just curious if I would see much of a performance and runtime difference if I upgrade my 3000 sport packs to GP3300s while using the SS5800?

Anyone have experience with this?

By the way I'm running a XXX-T, 86/17 gearing and Deans Ultras.

Thanks!

I think that the gp3300's punch compared to anyother nimh or nicd battery is outstanding also one of my favorite things about them is that they dont get anywhere near as hot as my sanyo 2400s after being used for over 10mins.

also Check ebay for gp3300 i got some from hongkong for 29 dollars which worked out about 20quid.

When people give their experiences with using GP3300's with the Novak (when they previously used cheap batts), the thing they talk about most is how much more powerful their car/truck is. They get higher speeds, and the acceleration improves a lot. If they weren't able to get wheelies before, they are able to get them with GP3300s.

Your punch will be insane with that setup. I have that setup in a MF2 & BK2 and the low end torque is sick, and that's with the settings dialed down.

I am running the exact same set up and I like the power and runtime with the GP 3300's . I have even tried 7 cells and the performance is even better! I think it runs best with the 17 tooth pinion as you use. I no longer use my nicads or 3000's because the punch and runtime improvement are amazing.

I bet you'll love GP3300's. BL is quite efficient to begin with...with high-capacity packs, runtime is impressive.
