This really doesn't have a real application, but it was fun to see it work. It is only supported on one end by a bearing so I put grease on the outside of the armature and let magnets slide.

That really does look cool! You should try to rig it up so that it will have a rear bearing as a support. I would have never though of that as a BL motor!

I wonder how many rpm's you could get it to pull (on regular 7.2 voltage). How does the weight of the can compare to a regular brushlesses armature. I cant think of an application for it but it is very interesting.

I would guess that it is fairly slow. 18 turn double armature wrapped in a delta wind. I wouldn't be suprised if it is less than 1000 rpm/v. I have a couple of ideas to make another bearing of some type for the other end.

IIUTC, you converted a brushed motor, to a brushless spinning can motor? Wow, that is brilliant! ;)
