Fantom Exhaust

My tmaxx pipe came in today, and I wanted to know if any of you have ever used this pipe, and how did you mount it??

Did you cut down the stock header??
It seems to be a tight fit between the header and the Rx box.

if i rmemeber right i used the stock header, and yeah it was a tight fit next to the reciever box but mine did fit. I made my own pipe hanger out of a metal coat hanger and used that in place of the stock pipe hanger.

thanks sherminator.. does it matter if the pipe is wedged against the header??

Is the header going to cut into the pipe or is the pipe going to ding up the header (close it up)??

You're not supposed to have the header and the pipe touching, no. That'll ruin the vibrations running through the pipe, and will effect performance. You can cut a little off the header (I did that on my MGT simply because it made the performance better)
