I am trying to decide witch manster to get. I've narrowed it down to the T-Maxx, Savage 25,or the CEN Racing MT2 ???? I think I am leaning more towards the MT2 but want more info on it so any help would be appreciated
Thanks, Eric

In the past 1,095 threads there's been regarding "which mt to get", we've come to the conclusion that the best choices are:

-Traxxas Maxx trucks
-Associated MGT
-HPI Savage
-Losi LST

and there are a few others out there that may float your boat.

The T-Maxx was my first choice. But then I looked at the MT2. I know the T-Maxx is really good but would like to know more about the CEN Racing MT2 befor I make my mind up. Eric

I am shopping for the same trucks basically. I threw the Tamiya TNX in the mix becuase of some reviews I have read. Personally I am leaning toward a traxxas product because 3 local hobby shops stock parts for them. Nothign worse than breaking soemthing and having to wait 3-5 days for the part to get there. then what if my noobie self ordered the wrong one. another 3-5 days.

as for the MT2, it was lookign good until I read the official CEN mt2 thread here. several complaints about the radio and even more complaints about the companies support. If there is no local support and the company has poor support, I am not going to mess with it.

Did you look at the savage 4.6 ss comes with good engine(from what i've read). You get to build it. you do need to find a radio for it though...

Just a thought since you are going to be tearing up and down anyway....
And the after market section isHUGE

hahaha you made me laugh for the following 20 minutes, sorry its this type of immature thing that i luagh at :D

back to the subject- to be honest the Cen is getting out of fashion is almost extinct, not many people own it so hop-ups are limited, T-Maxx is less popular now so i think a savage or a revo would be a sensible choice

Thing about maxx's is that they have more aftermarket support than the Savage and Revo combined. That's why I think people continue to buy them.

After reading the thread on here about the cen mt2 I have changed my mind on that one. So that ones out!! And I was going to go with the maxx but a budy of mine told me he has had both. He still has the savage and said he thinks it out performs the maxx. One of my biggest problem is I do have an e-mxx (didnt like it I'm more into nitro! Its for sale if any one wants it) and other than being slower than nitro and having to charge batts more than driving. It is that I keep flipping it. Does the T-Maxx have the same problem or what about the savage??? My LHS supports both with tons of aftermarket parts. So its still up in the air. Thanks, Eric

The revo still has some time to get an aftermarket going- it just takes time. CEN was looking ok until they responded to every question with basically "its your fault, we won't help you". To the original question-either the savage or the maxx would be great choices

id go with the hpi savage because the cen has crappy plastic gears and thy strip realy easily the savage has metal stock and the cen canot b reaplaced with metal

Go with the savage 25ss or k4.6 as they are both sturdy good trucks.Yes a little farty to work on but apart from this issue i cannot really fault mine in fact to be honest out of all the mts i have raced over the years i would say this is one of the possible best that i have had. There are other trucks out there to like revo mgt lst but i am still happy with my savage.
The other thing is with a savage there are plenty of hop ups available for them not as if you need them and also the parts for spares and repairs are also ready available no waiting around for weeks or months for spare parts.

Everyone has there own preferences but this is mine at the end of the day it is your money an dyoull decide what truck you want

I'd say Sav, Revo or MGT... Also, do you have a local hobby shop? Go see what they have on hand for replacment parts. Having a local place to get parts should be a huge deciding factor.
