Today i put a dynamite .26 in my savage and within 5 minutes the spur gear stripped i made the gear meshing as i always did with the stock motor. could this be because the motor has more power.

What gearing are you using with your new engine could be the gearing not set correct to take new engine have you thought of that?
Also what spur are you running on at the moment ?

I have the stock spur gear and stock clutchbell.

check your engine plate screws. One major thing that happens with the TVp's is that the side screws come loose, therefore the engine shakes and strips the gears. Iv had it happen. The best solution is to put stainless steel hex-head screws in the savage and use a nice hex wrench and threadlock. The hex-heads can really be torqued down mmuch more than the allen heads can

It appears to me if you are running on stock spur and clutchbell are you sure that you have got the meshing spot on as you only need to be a mm out and this will strip the spur.
Also make sure that the engine plate and engine mounts are as tight as you can get them threadlock all of these screws as you have got more power running through and you did have before.
The screws will vibrate loose if you do not threadlock them as i have found out in the past and then this cause the engine plate and mount to move slightly which will then cause you spur to strip.
Hope this helps you a little

I agree with everything said so far, except for the stainless screws part. Good ol' grade 8 alloy black steel screws are the ticket.
Setting the mesh needs to be even more crucial when upgrading to an engine with great power like that Mach .26 does. Gearing up helps some, too, as that engine has enough low end torque to handle the gearing change without a problem.
Congrats on the new engine!
