I read about it on the Mammoth forum. Someone said it was in this issue of Extreme R/C.

I heard this might be a gasoline powered truck which I definitely would not be interested in.

If it's a 1:6th, I'd bet anything it's a gasoline, with a Zenoah 2 stroke engine. As for not being interested if it's gas, why? Gasoline powered engines have more torque, are more durable, easier to tune, and easier to start. I got rid of my glow powered helis this last fall, and went to Gasser Helis, and I'll never go back. The power, size, and just general ease of use will spoil you. Not to mention the cheap fuel compared to Nitro, and if the smell of gas is something you don't want (I don't), you can run it on camper fuel, which is $3.25 a gallon.
Bring on the XTM Gas truck!

hi I work for hobbypeople and the new truck is identical to the 1/6 scale buggy it just has a bigger body and tires also you can catch a peek in the new mags either car action or xtreme I cant remember its hard to see thought.

No, I dont but basically you can imagine the 1/6 scale with big tires. All hobbypeoples should have a book for xtm products and in the first couple pages it shows the truck and their new 1/10 scale street car not in detail but it gives an ideal of the shape.
You can run camper fuel in pump gas engines?

Yeah, the heli and plane guys do it all the time, and all the Zenoahs are basically the same. My Predator Gasser with the Zenoah 231 has never seen anything but Ozark Camper fuel from Walmart at $3.35 a gallon. It's the same stuff as coleman, but about .50 cheaper.
It's a more highly refined petroleum that's about 60 octane, but the way these small 2 strokes are, the octane doesn't matter. I use camper fuel because it doesn't smell at all, and I keep my RCs in the house. If I were using gasoline, I'd have to keep it in the garage or somewhere, just because of the smell. Also, when using camper fuel, you don't have to change a thing, not even the needles, just dump it in there and run.

Doesnt look too bad. Atleast the body is nice on it. But its only 2wd? Will they ever make a 4wd gas truck?

With camper fuel do you still need to mix in oil?

Yeah, it's exactly like running gasoline, just without the odor, so you can bring it in the house, and don't have to worry about stinking the house/car you use to transport it in up.
