This is not, "what should I buy". This is my opinion on the two trucks. I have owned my MGT for close to a year, and the Savage for a month. No if's, ands, or buts, I like my MGT better. Reliability is better, it handles better, it's easier to work on, and it is just as tough. The MGT is just plain easier to run, tune, and enjoy. Last night I had the Savage out, and I had to turn the hsn in atleast one full turn, and the lsn atleast a half a turn to get it to right half way decent. I have never had to mess with the needles on my MGT that much. I just think the MGT is by far a better truck.

i definatly agree. i was having problems keeping the mach .26 running right in my savage, so i did a little swapping and put the mach in my mgt with the carb off of the tt.21. runs perfect and holds a tune awesome. i think i might get another carb for my tt.21 and just leave the one thats on my mach there.

The MGT is an awesome truck. The only problems I've ever had running it have been stupid little things that were my own fault. Like not thread locking the set-screws for my CVDs (MIP pins don't have a grove so you really need to thread lock the screw) so I lost the pins, not having my glow-starter charged all the way and stupid stuff like that. The engine runs like a champ all the time at about 240 degrees. It handles awesome (with the help of some stiffer AE springs) and it jumps perfect, not need to mess with the throttle/brake in the air . Absolutely awesome truck IMO
