We will begin offering the TG 2 and TG-3 WWII military training gliders in 1:5 scale short kits with complete plans and instructions, vacuum formed clear plastic canopy and precision laser cut bulkheads, formers and complex longerons. In addition we can supply complete hardward kits for each leaving the modeler only to supply the spar material, LE and TE balsa stock, sheeting and covering along with their radio gear.
Both of these may be built in several scale color schemes including the XTG-3 prototype, the TG-3A production WWII trainer in two or more schemes or TG-3A civilian dress and the TG-2 may be built as the US Army Air Corp overall yellow with blue on forward fuselage and red and white striped tail or overall yellow US Navy LN-S1 markings.
Specs are 130" and 126" spans respectively and all up weights in the 8-9 lb. range. These are excellent flyers with well proven thermal performance. We offer complete packages of scale photo reference material of the full size aircraft for scale builders and display thumbnail images of many at our web pages on our "scale-details" page.
