Racing tires for the lst

I race in a hard pack track and on the LST the 40 series bowties work well but the gearing is a problem and there is no gears to put in to help with the problem. my car just skips first gear and then the top speed is slow and the engine revs like hell. Is super king pins the only answer and does the king pins mount on normal maxx size rims.

I have a super king pins they only mount on LST rims not 40 series rims. Adam Drake uses Zombie Maxx tires on LST rims or you can use then on regular maxx rims.
