My MaxST started drving baddly, so i figure it was time to rebuid the shocks, as i could see the shock oil running down one of them!
- Cleaned down the shocks, filled, "tested", leaked, reseated the top, leaked, look closer, to see where the oils coming from!
- THOUGH the shock body!! :(
- The shock has accutaly worn though, and the oils gushing out for the valleys of the threads!!
I know they where wearing, as every time ive dont the oil its being rather too full of aluminum dust to be good. but it didnt think they where that worn!
- there a year old and ive only used highquality silcon oil, i guess thats what you get with Duratrax!! - Get what you pay for!
Anyway, i need some new shocks for the rear of my MaxST, certainly not the duratrax ones again!
- The current Shocks are 3" ones, but it would take 4"ers just as well (it has a second set of holes and inch higher up.
- What shocks are the avalable?
