I got in on that last batch. I found a set on ebay (Generation 2) and I bid $300 and was outbid at the last second. They went for $315. So I contacted Dan directly at Ultramaxxed and as luck would have it, he did another batch so I got a Generation 3 set for $200 shipped. I feel bad for the guy that won the ebay auction.

I wouldn't feel bad for that ebay auction winner - I watch a lot of items on Ebay and popular items usually go for more to a lot more than what you can buy them for elsewhere. Maybe its the excitement of being an auction winner, or ignorance of where/what you can find the item for elsewhere, but it's sure puzzling as much as I see it happen. I quit tracking an item when it reaches the price I can buy it for elsewhere - I don't want to be caught paying way too much. I've wondered lately how much shill bidding (illegal) actually happens on Ebay.

Days when you could find really good bargains on Ebay appears to be over. If you're a seller, however, it a great way to make a lot of money.
