I just picked up some new spoilers from JBconsepts for my B4. The last spoiler I had I ended up hacking it up trying to cut it. What's the best way to cut the spoiler, buggy owners know what I'am talking about. Lexon cutters don't like to get in to the 90* angles of the spoilers to well. I was thinking about doing it with a Exacto knife mounted on my soldering iron, but since I can't adjust the temp, I'am afraid it might burn, or melt.

Cut it close and finish with a Dremel using the small sanding drum. You can score it with an xacto knife until it breaks, but a sharp angle will be a weak spot...keep smooth arches. Good to polish the edge when you are done with some 400-600 grit sandpaper to add to the strength and keep the corner marshalls happy. Just my $.02

Use an Xacto. Score it a few times, then bend and snap the excess out.

I do that too... scoring the lines where to cut imo works nice... if you have a steady hand should be a prob... but people who do this all the time have very lil difficulty... i always use a new blade when scoring a new bod... using a dull one has very lil success and sometimes you can feel it... and i only glide over it once ;)
