Works great and following the instructions Spektrum supplied are no problem. You need to set the Futaba radio up in PPM mode like the instruction tell you and the Schulze U-Force 75 that is the finest 1/10th scale electronic speed control made in the world chimes right up.

Can't wait to track test it. It appears to be faster than the Futaba HRS that I converted from.

Craps,

What version is your controller?

All 4 of my Schulze U-Force 75 ESCs are version 3 software that I think is the latest version.

But using the radio in PPM mode should work with all ESCs.

My is only version 1 and is really interested in the Spektrum :( might have to wait until someone can confirm that a version 1 can work as well.

I don't think you will have problem because the Futaba is set in the PPM mode that should work with all brushless ESCs.

Race track testing was flawless, but there was 1 1/8th scale gas racer that had a module go bad according to him. Out of around 100 racers with about 40 of them using Spektrum and only 1 bad Spektrum module out of those, I think it is to be expected. There was probably 3 or 4 of the other 60 non Spektrum users having TX/RX problems along with the usual radio frequency conflicts amongst them that did not happen with the Spektrum group.

I love my Spektrum!

wow, sounds like you get a great turnout at your track. also good to hear that most are doing well with the spektrum system. I cant wait to get one. Now I just need to find a place that has the hitec one in stock and not charging crazy $$$$ for it.

I have a friend who bought one, but had problems with signal beyond 60' or so. Good to hear yours works fine. Although I must say 1 out of every 100 isn't that great a turn out. I think I'll wait tilll they have thier quality control up to par.

Good to hear it works well w/ the U-force for sure though.

Looks funny watching cars with antennas sticking up and the driver's stand without antennas sticking up where you have to look around them or duck the antenna of those drivers that react to what they're car is doing.

Craps,

Any chance you can post pics of your radio and car setup with the Uforce? Just need a little more push before I send my payment for the Spektrum. :p

Pics will be found in this thread without Spektrum. You don't need a picture of it.

I also posted it back to the top.
