This thread is to introduce and to answer any questions about a NEW line of paints and primer for Radio Controlled Models.

The product is called WarbirdColors. WarbirdColors is a line of one-part, water-based, fuel-proof, acrylic polyurethane paints, specifically formulated for the RC hobbyist. Warbirdcolors can be located at:

http://www.warbirdcolors.com

This thread will be monitored for questions about the product, or you can contact me at warbirdcolors@yahoo.com.

In a nutshell....WarbirdColors sticks to anything, dries HARD, can be sanded in about an hour, and the colors are correct.

Thank you,
Chuck Graves

Well, there is a sizable time gap here since the original post but I just reviewed Chuck's paint in the June issue of MAN. The paint is easy to work wit and cleans up nice with water. I really love the packaging as each country's colors are identified with its national insignia. I sprayed the sample paint with my HVLP equipment and it went down very nicely! Look for the review in the "Product Watch" section
