Ok guys I have read alot of the posts here in the forum and kind of have an idea of what i want to run. I just wanted to know if a FDR of 6 is too low? Next one is does anyone know the amount of time it takes for the brushless motors to spool to top rpm? Also I am trying to locate some wheels and tires in the 3" range. Also not sure about width I'm thinking 26mm to 30mm. just to try and keep the power to the ground and not spinning all the time.

I can tell ya, they spool up about as fast as you can pull the trigger. The question is, how long will it take for everything else to catch up to the motor.

Depends on the motor. I ran my basic 4200 on a 5.5:1 ratio on a large outdoor track and it worked okay. Got really hot, so I wouldnt suggest it, but it didn't die.
