I was just in Wal Mart and saw the Mighty Mini compressor and airbrush set up. Its only 40 bucks. I almost bought it, but thought I would check here first and see if anyone has used it, and if its any good.

the airbrush works fine, but the compressor could be a little stronger. i tried to use faskolor and didn't get enough psi to paint

Well i would sugjest the Craftsman 125 psi 3 gallon, only $100 and is worth the extra money I use it and it is great.

I agree with RH. I have the same air compressor and I wish I would have bought it when I started painting. It's also good for household chores, like filling tires and football or basketball's, hell my father-in-law used it with his nail gun to put a door frame in. Also, if you think you might get into airbrushing do yourself a favor and get a decent double action brush. Iwata makes the best air brushes in my opinion, but I know you can find cheaper ones to start with. In the long run, you will be saving yourself money, because you really do get what you pay for.
I'll get off my soapbox now :) .

eh? that's $40 cheaper than i bought it for, dammit. I used to use it for painting plastic models, worked fine enough with testors paints, but is prolly too weak for real airbrushing
