This isnt a project but a question.
Do you think it would be posible to scratch build a 3d foamy/ slow stick type airplane using aerobird cahllenger (3ch) electronics?

It would be much easier to buy new electronics than to try to reuse the ABC Electronics. New gear would allow you to choose the battery size, tail design, and servo location. You can also save weight by getting the new electronics.

As far as I know, 3-D can only be done using 4 channels. Unless you are not talking about the form of aerobatics, if this is the case then, I don't know.
