I have a suggestion -
(I have a feeling I am going to get pounced on here...But I cannot find something)
Maybe I missed it.
But do you have a link/ad/promo anywhere on this forum so I could order the magazine it supports?
Thank you
Kevin

To Matt Higgins. Joined Tower club deal. They promised two issues of RCBM. Six eight weeks.... Have not gotten the mag. Meanwhile I am being solicited to renew my subscription to RCBM which I never had. Can you sort this out ? I'd hasten to subscribe except, based on current status, I am not sure you folks have your act together.

Gene,
I'm not sure how the Tower deal works, but I'll look into it on Monday. Please PM me your contact information.

Tower has a gimmick that promises some advantages to Tower club members. I think they are legitimate enough to justify membership cost. One of the perks is a free two issue subscription to any of your several model mags.
No problem with Tower or your publishing firm. Slightly annoyed that I am being solicited to renew my subscription while I wonder what happened to the two Tower sponsored issues I had expected. It would seem that your marketers are far more competant than the fulfillment people.
Not a big deal here. Only venting in the forum.

I had the same issue with MAN. Got a letter saying I had received my 2 issues, and asking that I subscribe. Of course I hadn't seen any issues. At first I was quite irritated and thought about writing a nasty letter. Then I remembered that magazines and normal mail have different rates and delivery times, and even if it was something out of synch at the publisher that it wasn't a big deal.
BTW, about the Tower Hobbies club. I was a member for the last year. By the time I add up the savings from free shipping for orders over $150, the special discounts I got, and several free items (Futaba S3003 servo, screw driver set, and a couple other things), I consider the membership cost money well spent. The only down side is it tends to encourage me to place larger orders (to take advantage of the free shipping).
