Hello,
I am a new member, I have been flying electrics since 1990. I learned to fly on a PT Electric. I fly both fuelies and electrics, and I thought that you might want to see the Sig 4 Star that I converted to electric. It weighs in at 94 ounces AUW. It is powered by an Astro Flight Cobalt 25 geared. I am using 16 Sanyo 1900 SCR batteries to drive the motor. It flies for about 9 minutes with some throttle management and does most aerobatic manuvers with ease. It flies like a dream and floats in on landing.
I have also converted a Sig LT 25 to electric. This also is a great flyer. It is powered by an Astro Cobalt 15 geared on 12 Sanyo 1900 SCR's.
