Well..they're interesting. They appear to be the exact same vehicle but with different bodies, wheels, and tires...

Those look like friction shocks, and the chassis layout looks a bit like the layout on a Half 8, but that's not a bad thing...

Too bad it's Schumacher and therefore to hard to get. For $159 bux they look like quite a value.

I wish they had a pic of the buggy with the body on. I am thinking the buggy looks a tad narrower in the front but it may just be the angle of the pic.

The buggy looks like a knock off of the Inferno but without the stupid heat sink on it. Either way, it looks good IMO.

The buggy's wing looks kinda cheezy. And will their be hop-ups for these?

seems to me all little claimed, "little trucks" look the same just different bodies like the xray, rc18, etc...they all look the same except the TLT and the PTI trucks those are real 1/18 scale trucks.

I don't buy that.

All of them look similar, but so do most 1/8th buggies, 1/10th tourers, 1/10 buggies, 1/10 stadiums, 1/12 on-road, etc. About the only area of r/c where there is still a considerable room for variation amongst the models is monster trucks. When racing is involved you go with what works, not what you want to do to be different. Monster trucks aren't designed to win on the racetrack at all costs so they design them differently still. Hopefully it stays that way.

As for the TLT and PTI being real 1/18. I don't buy that either. They're just 1/18 monsters while the XRay, AE, and now these trucks, are all 1/18 stadium trucks. That's like saying an MT2 isn't a 1/10 scale because it's not as big as a Maxx. They're both 1/10th, but they're in different classes. Real monster trucks are far bigger than real stadium trucks (or whatever the closest thing we have to those is...probably SCORE trucks or something), so why wouldn't the size be different amongst the scaled down r/c versions?

I can see why they gave Steve a pic without the buggy body on it to post here. Go to that link and look at that retarded looking thing..

Better yet, I'll save you the trouble...

If they redid the buggy body and had better shocks I would be interested.

they should make a body to look more like their cat 2000 or 3000 bodies, then it would look great.

I saw that at the RCX.. and the wheels and tires on the buggy are TINY... they are like micro RS4 wheels with knobs... and the suspension is really "boingy"..... booty

I bought the Mini Inferno

Hello guys...I'm Adrian Martinez the Sales Manager at Schumacher USA (Importer of A-Tech).

If you have any questions about the cars post them here and I will do my best to answer them.

Regarding the shocks. Keep in mind the the average buyer of these cars is a beginner. FYI, the basic friction shock Mini-T outsells the higher spec Mini-T. A lot of the dealers we have met at trade shows tell us that they have had entry level customers pass up cars with oil shocks because they were afraid of having to rebuild them (I'm not kidding).

For serious users we will have a full array of option parts very shortly. Oil Shocks, Turn Buckles, Billet Kits, LiPo batts and more are on the way.

Regarding the Buggy body. I also thought it was ugly when I first saw the pics. In reality it looks pretty cool. I did order fewer buggies than trucks for the first shipment but guess what sold out first...the Buggies! At the NHRSA show in Vegas every dealer stopped and picked up the buggy first.
