Serpent is excited to present this new-machined chassis plate for the Serpent 710. Made from the same high-grade aluminum as in the original chassis, this plate has been designed for optimal stiffness by a reduction in chassis openings.
The real benefit of this chassis is that you'll have a lower center of gravity due to the machining that enables all the chassis mounted parts to be attached lower in the chassis. This in turn means with similar ride height, the car will have more ground clearance and in turn will allow the car to be driven with 2mm smaller diameter tires. The base of the chassis is has been chamfered along its edges and sports an engraved Serpent logo and countersunk holes throughout. Comes complete with brake plate pins.
