OFNA says...

Drop this beast into your T-Maxx and let the dirt fly. This insane .26 engine is a direct fit on your T-Maxx, NO mods necessary. Looking for pinnacle power and tremendous torque... look no further.

"No mods necessary" - Just completely destroy your drive train before breakin is even finished, lol!!

None taken Sav, I just saw OFNA had a bunch of stuff on its site and none of it was here.

Ya...my shop just got them earlier this week. They look like they should be pretty good. We've sold a few already I believe...one that I know of, but I have yet to hear back on it. The big block Picco .26's were exceptional engines, so I expect these will be as well.

I certainly hope that the QC is better than the Max .21 that it replaced. My got not even 3 gallons before the pinch was gone and performance went into the toilet. Needless to say it was promptly replaced by an OS TM that outperforms it in every way...

Lack of Pinch, doesn't mean lack of compression.....
But if you are using a compression gauge and see a down fall, thats another thing.

Well, whatever it was, the engine's performance degraded to such a degree that it wouldn't hold a tune any longer. There are several other users on the Traxxas Revo boards that have had the same problem.

What the heck? How is this a direct fit if you need to buy a new engine mount???

False advertising.

I would agree, if they included the mount I think they could get away with that.

Do you REALLY need a .26 in a Tmaxx??? Prolly go thru a lot of tranny gears.

So how did it go. I'm thinking about getting this engine. Either this or an o.s .18 tm to keep it simple.

it has a way to much power for a stock T-Maxx...
some serious modds are needed.

if you want I'm selling mine for 160.00 shipped.

thanks
