I got two questions for you. How fast do you really wanna go and whats your max budget. That will help out a lot. :cool:

My Novak 5800 went 44 mph on 7 cells with a 30t pinion. My Novak HV went 61mph on 14 cells with a 30t pinion.

You should be able to go faster than that - my B4 went 43 mph with only 6 cells... you need to find larger pinions and smaller spur gears. Like 68 spur, 35 pinion.

My first response would be to read the thousand other "brushless in____ car?" threads. Its all preference in this world of brushless. The sky is the limit, if your wallet isn't at least.
