That is neat - although not quite as good as the big one. Get one and i'll race you sometime ;)

That seems fair - .18 in a 25" mini manta, against a EZ-25 in a 55" manta :D
Why not as good?? I am going to retire the nitro hammer hull and put everything into this boat:D So when are you going to come down here and race?? Maybe I'll come up there and run with all you guys also:D

Hey - I never said it couldn't approach it in speed - as long as they don't collide (in which case the mini-manta would be the distinct looser)
i am going to order it.:D Can you email me some good close up pixs??? I want to make it look exactly like yours:D

Sure - hope you have high speed internet :D
So how do I join the hull??????

Put epoxy on the underside of the top part of the hull (where it will touch the bottom hull) and put some on the edge of the bottom hull, join, and apply pressure until dry.

That is a great Idea!! The hull doesn't look like a real screamer (a ton of freeboard and two full legnth strakes) but should handel rough water like a champ! A word of caution on the flywheel made by Octura that they sell; it is too long. Get the OS one from Tower No. 1D. OS part number 71801040- perfect wheel for .10-.18 motors.
The boat is on its way:D Hopefully it will get here soon:D What is freeboard????

Wow - that was fast. What engine is going in it? Also, where are you going to get the mini version of the decals? Finally, will you cut out the scoop on the cabin? I can tell you from personal experience that that hull handles incredibly well, as well as cutting through the chop very well (although it is flippable)
My nitro hammer .15 for now.:D I have no idea, I didn't think it was that detailed:(
Yes I will cut the scoop out for air flow. I might even do the side ones:D

I have been thinking I think I might do the same thing as ejp (use the stuff from my nitro hammer) and use this engine http://hyperprod.bizhosting.com/pull_start_15_inboard.html . What do you think?
Sounds like a plan to me. I will probably replace my engine with that one when I get a job this summer:D

Thats a great motor !!!.

ejp - if you cut out the side scoops, then more power to ya, but the big one only has the roof scoop open.
Yeah, I will probably just try the top one at first(don't want to let water in) if it doesn't run right then I'll cut out the bottom ones
This Sucks!!!! I called to check on my order statis and they haven't even shipped them out yet:( They said maybe I'll recieve it tuesday:(

Man my days are thrown off. Today is Wednesday (I think):D. Has it arrived?
Chris LaPanse

Well, you're lucky you ordered it in the offseason - mine took 4 1/2 weeks to arrive. Don't worry - the reason they take so long is that they build stuff to order, and they do a good job.
Well i just want my boat:D They said they just go 2 in and one of those is mine:D I think it is also because they are a new item.:D
Here it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SWEET!!! Must see some running pics ASAP!!!
I have a problem. The engine sits further back so my exhaust is way long. Can I just cut it down to fit????

I reccommend getting the macs tuned, cutting to the correct length, and letting whatever extra there is hang out the back, cutting a large enough hole to accomadate the pipe's diameter at that particular spot.
I want to run this weekend though. Do you think I could cut the pipe down and the header a little to make it work for now???
What is good length for a tuned pipe for a .15???
Micho523

I have that the best length is 7 inches from the center of the glow plug to the center of the weld on the pipe. Cut on the header side of the pipe ONLY!! And from the looks of it, you should shorten both the pipe and header. Good Luck!!
I shortened my pipe. I started the boat to check things out and when I would blip it I had to hold it full for a second before it would react. Would richening the lsn help this???
Last one until I run it. :D So, what do you all think. Chris, I tried to imitate it as best I could,(under the hatch) ;)

EJP, do you have a piece of plexiglas sealing up your radio box?? From the pictures it looked completely open!!

Nice, EJP. Should run really well. What hardware do you have on it? Looks good, and can't wait for the running shots.
Heres how the paints gona be. Maroon in the inside and the pinstripe will be yellow. :D Might do something on the side once I see what this looks like
The hardware, the only fansy thing on the back is the prop. :D

What are you going to do with the hammer hull?? I bet you could get more than you expect if you sell it on ebay!
I might try to sell it but I don't think I could get much for it.:( Anyone want to buy an NH hull?????:D
