I went to the lake this weekend with my friend. I could not use my N hammer so me and my friend fooled around with his shockwave 36. It ran great all day saturday. We ran it today and it ran good at first but it seemed that the speed would go up and down at full throttle, and only at full throttle. Near the end of the run the boat seemed to have been slowing down quite a bit. I was unsure of his problem I suggested that maybe it was running to lean or the glow plug was dead or maybe something to do with his fuel, I realy am unsure. Any ideas, I am just trying to help him out.

Oh come on! No one has had a similar problem? Thanks to another forum I think my friends problem might be that the fuel tank is not sealing properly. Does this sound like it could be the problem?

If it was running lean then it would sound like it was starving for fuel ,and want to cut out at high speed.

No it did not sound like it was starving for fuel. I think the problem is the seal of the fuel tank. Thanks for the reply.

Check the fuel flow in the line .If you have air bubbles then you have a seal problem.

So ,you could be right .It could be the seal on the tank or maybe a pin hole in the fuel line.
