I need some help converting some balsa free-flights to R/C flyers. I need as much information as possible, so post anything that can help here. Thanks for looking!

It depends on what you want to convert. I just finished a Buzzard Bombshell conversion to R/C, powered it with an o/s 25, and it flew great. It took some doing to add ailerons and get the rudder to work, with a tailwheel, but that is a part of scratchbuilding I like. One thing I did do was take the polyhedrial out of the wing, went straight dihedral instead, about 5 inches at the tips, if I recall. Covered it with polyester dress lining, nitrate dope, with KlassKote for the final finish. This is just one example of what can be done with FF models. They are usually pretty good for conversion, as they have to be good flyers on their own. Hope this gives you some desire to attempt a conversion and let us know what you did and how it turned out.
