hi i did my first gelcoat repair not to long ago first you need to get the gelcoat that matchs your boat you go to who evermade your boat and they shuold be able to get it for you, its really not to hard at all there a lot of good articles if you go to rc modler they have a good one done by tony. the only thing i found when i did mine is noboby told me to take the masking tape and make a trough for the gelcoat well any ways if you need more adivse let me know good luck:P

It is fairly easy I would suggest the color match gelcoat. Make sure you open up the cracks before you get ready to fix it. I use a dremel with a small cutting bit. If you don't it will crack again. Mix the gelcoat per the manufacture instructions usually 14 drops of MEKP per half ounce of gelcoat. Put in enough to over fill the crack slightly once it cures start sanding with 400 grit wet sandpaper keeping it wet during the sanding. I work my way up to 2000 grit as a finish sanding.

Then polish it with a good rubbing compound and buffer if it is a small place use a buffer pad on the dremel. A nice coat of good wax and your done.
