i recently replaced my carb and fuel cap o-ring which i sized up and bought at home depot. the truck runs great but the truck doesn't shut off when i block the exhaust. what would cause this. i replaced the zip ties on the exhaust. the exhaust pipe itself doesn't leak. if the o-ring went bad or didn't fit perfect what would happen ?any suggestions would be great. thanks

Basically, this means something in your exhaust system is leaking. Check where the header bolts to the engine. Make sure your zipties are tight. Check the pressure line (where it attached to the pipe and the fuel tank). Lastly, that O-ring on the fuel tanks sounds like it could be your problem. If any one of these things is leaking, that would cause your problem.
