Beginner Boat ??

A beginner question,
I'm buying a sailboat for my Dad's 80th BD (he's in great shape) this would be for fun, not competition. Any recommendations? Nirvana or fortune 612 seem like the choice. Ideas would be welcome

You might want to also consider the V32 RTR sailboat putout by Victor Model Products. You can order the pre-built hull in a multitude of colors and also colored sails as well. It comes with the radio gear installed and is large enough to handle wainds that many of the smaller RTR yachts can't handle.
