My brother has a MGT that won't shift into second. We have adjusted that little screw in the transmistion according to the manual with no avail. Its running strong, just wont shift. Could the slipper clutch be the culprit?

Mine is now starting to shift a little later. I have not tried to adjust mine yet. Is this an adjustment we have to stay on top of?

try leaning out the high speed needle 1/8th turn :)

What are you running your HSN at is it to rich as sometimes this will cause the truck not to shift into second try to lean it out ONLY AND ONLY by slight fractions of a turn whilst doing this try the temp on the truck at all times
