FINALLY !
Still on vacation and found the August issue! Haven't cracked the pages open yet as its getting saved for the plane ride home.
Matt, you're constantly asking for ideas for articles so here's one: Spark plug differences. Theres hotter plugs on the market for the Zeni's than the stock Champion. Also how gapping effects them along with higher octane %. We know that guys like Mr C' make "reccomendations" about oil content etc. He don't just come out & say run the higher ratio, but he hints at it. Then you read what the racers are using..... (see where I'm going?):) Some swear by 8-1 vs 4-1. Not a bad issue by no means, just a thought that came to mind.

I just read my August issue. I really enjoyed the article on the LSH project. I run sport models b/c nobody down here races electrics. I had been considering building a 12-cell Graupner powered hydro, and your article helped convince me to get started. Only I did'nt see the Zephyr on BBY's website.

That's my bad. I should have mentioned the Zephyr was brand new. Contact BBY and they will hook you up. I've had great results with the hull and I'm glad to have something a little different.

Hi Matt,
Great issue this month !!!
I would like to see some information in relation to size of hull to what type of electric motors can be used. As I am thinking of building a small 30in hull and dont really know what to run in it. Info like windings and turns? What size motors suit what size hull.
Just basic setups and what others run etc....
Hope this helps...

Matt,
I love the august issue. The brushless and all FE articles are right on time, I run stock gas now but have been thinking about branching out into FE's.
Some suggestions, how about some setup and tuning articles for gas and FE? I have a hard time tuning and modding gas engines (I'm a paint and body guy)and know nothing about electrics so an FE for dummies would be cool!
