Anyone use their truck on a skateboard half pipe? Would 4 wheel steering help?

no, and dont get it if ur thinking bout it, once u hit the road or even dirt track at top speed u wont even be able to control it especally when u take a smooth corner

1/4 pipes yes but theres no way in hell im driving my truck on a 16 foot tall vert ramp.If your truck got over the coping it would most likely fall straight to the flat bottom.if your just talking about riding the walls of the pipe, your going to want your ride hight low and when you hit the vertical part crank the wheel and you should turn around.

I use a stick type tx and thought it would be cool to have the rear steering on a different channel, that way I dont have to use it.

should I keep the suspension tight or soft? Yes, quarter pipe it is. Im sure my local skate park will love to have my nitro truck blowing oil all over their stuff, then again oil would probably do unpainted wood good here in vegas heat.

hey today i took my e. rustler to the local skatepark. I have mostly bald tires on it and usually spin out on the cement when turn but on the quarter it was like i had awesome traction. I still have to stock 20 turn stinger in it and i hit the spine (about a 4 foot spine) at almost full speed and my turck was in the air atleast 6 maybe 7 feet landed on the back tires and rode away it was pretty cool

So I went to the local community skate park that had swimming pool type skating. All concrete with metal coping and 4-6 feet deep. There was 1 place that went vertical and I dont know what it will do, probably fall. Every other edge was great you could run right up the walls and get about 3ft above the rim and landing on all four tires stopped. I was able to ride the coping (figured out accidentally :) , hook 2 tires over the top and drop back in. Great air all over. You dont have great traction which is to your advantage you dont need much throttle to keep your momentum going , longer run time than usual and cooler than usual. The two times I tumbled were very soft (no rocks :) and relatively low speed. That was a lot of fun.
