Picco MAXX 26

Is anyone else haveing issues with the PICCO 26 MAX carb sticking, will the carb off my 2.5R Traxxas work, it looks like it will fit.

Try rotating your carb and adjusting your linkages so the carb's movement and the movement of the smaller throttle linkage are parallel. If one isn't parallel to the other, a side load is applied to the carb and it can bind.

Thanks, I did have it rotated off parallel by about 10 degrees to clear the slipper, but it looks like I can raise the throttle slide arm and still clear when parallel. It does look like it could be side loading the slide in the present positon, Thanks again,

Hey bro

I've had this carb sticking problem with my picco 26 for a while now. Its not the servos or that the carb isn't clean. I have no idea what the problem is but it sucks. I've come to the conclusion that I need to replace the carb. I've ordered both the HPI 25 and XTM 24.7 carb to see which one works better. A guy on savagecentral uses the HPI 25 carb on our picco engines, and says it works great.
