i dont kno wat it is but i always have a little trouble putting the receiver case on the truck it always give me a hard time, i had the failsafe on top of the reciever but the case wouldent fit at all so i taped it to the bottom of the bracket that the reveiver is on, and now its not as hard to put on, anyone else have this problem?

I have a hard time squishing all the wires down in there. Some times rc cars remind me of the engine compartment on full size japanese cars, crampt like a mofo. \m/

ya man its weird how u gotta angle it in cause of the shocks that are in the way, and then u gotta kinda lift the throttle linkage a bit so the other side fits in.

You're not alone, Chuteboxe. I don't know ANYONE who likes the Savage radio box!

is there anything else i could do, mabe customize it, or buy somethin diff?
cause getting it on is enough nevermind puttin the clips on, could i just get a reciever case cause the servos dont really need to be covered right?

You certainly could do that, some vehicles don't have ANY coverings for ANY of the electronics (RC10GT, HPI NMT, etc.).

No you are not on your own mate that has problems with them that is one of the downsides of the sav i think.

I run my failsafe on top of receiver box and i have a crystal connecter on the outside on the side so i do not have to keep opening receiver box to change crystal as this does and seem to make life a little easier for me as i race so always have to change crystals.

What makes it worse is that those shocks get in the way to and all the wires that you have to try and cram back in without cutting through them with lid of receiver box all part of the fun hey

Savagemachine ;) :p

Be sure to secure your receiver if you do that, you don't want that thing flopping around! Better yet, if you don't need to frequently change frequencies, balloon it before securing it.

what if you have reverse with the third servo?
