Mclaren F1?

I'm sure they have these but I never saw any true replicas.. The ones I've seen were always off some how by it being the lights, the general shape, 5 lug wheels (wth?), plastic tires, etc... Anybody know where I can get a good replica? Mostly looking for the 1995 ones, not the long bodies 1997..

The only current production McLaren F1 I know of is a 1:43 street car from Minichamps. They have done some race versions as well -- short and long tails -- and I expect you may be able to find them on the web as well as be ordered by local shops. They are a little pricey at around $45, but with Minichamps you can bet that the scale details will be spot-on.

I own a Maisto Silver Mclaren F1 in 1:18 scale and a UT Models F1 GTR (Gulf #18) just in case youre wondering I bought the F1 in a shop in China and the GTR in a Toyota Dealer :D don't ask.

Good info -- thanks. How long ago did you buy them?

Maisto cars are generally done in sufficient enough quantity that they should be available even years after they go out of production. UT is a bit more hit-or-miss, but i bet the dedicated web-surfer could locate discontinued models. And who knows, either could still be in production...

I guess I bought the F1 a long time ago ( 7 years? ) and I never saw another one like it ever again :confused:
