i kno i kno, its all to do with weather and everythin, but i was just wondering about the max amount of turns the HSN should be in from flush?
and, wat is the ideal running temp for the savage 25?
right now mine is running at 230F, but has peaked out at 250F the odd time

Right here we go once again:

HSN needle should be set 4 - 4 half turns from fully closed after break in the needle settings can range from 2 half to 3 turns from fully closed depending on humidty.

LSN needle should be set 3 turns from fully closed after break in from 2 half to 3 turns out depending on humidty.

The more you turn the HSN needle clockwise then all you are doing is getting more power from your engine but killing it at the same time as it is shortening the life span of it,

No problem thats what the forum is for to help each other out i forgot to mention your temp needs to be running at 210 - 250 try not to get it hotter than this as again it will shorten life span of engine if the truck is a little slow and sluggish this is better than killing your engine aint it

From everything I have read about the S-25 engine, it's pretty happy around 275°F. As long as you don't drive it for extended periods over 300°F or below 220°F it should keep going well.
