Spent a few hours at the lake yesterday, burned an entire gallon of fuel betwen this and the Miss LLumar. :D

It's difficult to drive a boat this fast and take pictures, but I snapped off a few before it got too dark:

This is at an idle with the trottle trim turned up a hair. Beautiful shot, I think.

The combo of the sky reflecting off the water and the light from sunset hitting the boat makes this a weird looking shot. Again, just cruising along with throttle trim turned up.

On the throttle the boat's attitude changes a bit. Got roost?

The factory 1.9x30 Prather prop will be replaced with a balanced, cut, and sharpened prop for a lil' better performance. I'll probably make some "real" trim tabs for it too, not too fond of the current "bend it and hope it's right" trim tabs that come with the boat.

Nice pics to say the least. & to imagine you ran the boat & took the pics at the same time. (not recommended, but it worked in this case:)) Pics are such good quality it makes me wonder if you're using an SLR camera?

Thanks. I've gotten much better at driving one-handed over the years. The good thing with taking pics while driving is that through the lens the boat looks closer than what it actually is.

You're right, those shots were taken using a Digital SLR. When I started working for RC Driver I picked up a Digital Rebel. I still have my Sony F717, but since I had a few Canon EF lenses I figured I couldn't go wrong with the DRebel.

I'm still messing with it. Those pics were taken on about the 6th tank of fuel.

Here's a vid I shot today.

Great Video and good choice of music :) - What sort of camera system did you use ? The ones I have been researching don't record a stable picture due to the vibration. This one looks really good. Thanks again for sharing.

That's a 480line Xtreme kit from www.helmetcamera.com

It's not a wireless setup, so you'll need a small video camera that will accept external audio and video signals. I use a Sony HC30 since it's nice and compact.

Appreciate the info, you had some nice toys running in the boat to capture that video. :) . Again thanks for the great video.

Nice footage. If possible could you show pictures how you had the camera etc. installed in the boat. Thanks for a great vid. :)
