well this was my first 100% success full run, (I had to take a break for like 2/3 months because I was too buisy to make time)
I didn't bring the camera because I thought it would be bad luck.
IM glad to be back
anyway, I really hate my tuned pipe, its so hard to work around because it is so big, it also dosn't really fit in my boat and its pressed up against the side, I got a cool idea, I think a side exhaust would be the ticket if its possible, I realize a canister type exhaust would take away performance but i really don't care, i just want to have fun. Do they make anything like this?
I would llike it to just come right out the side where the manifold is, and have the water comming throught it.
Thanks for the help

Scorp, it would help if you refreshed our memories as to what boat you have. I have enough trouble keeping track of what I have! :) Pix would help also.

Its an aeromarine challenger (48") w/a stock bonzi g260pum and a hanson pipe/header, bonzi radio box, whobbies fuel tank, not sure of the maker of the hardware bonzi water pick-ups, outlets,a walbro water pump (from bonzi), aeromarine trim tabs (thanks rc10gtisthebest), and a prather i think 260 prop.

Yes, you can spend the cheese & have an Enforcer style cannister (too expensive & loud for me) or you can get a normal weedwacker cannister for a Zeni. Mine was less than $20 ? Very cheap either way & is serving as an emergency spare. I'll take a pic of the ones I've got in the shop for you.
You want water coming through it? How & why?

thanks alot dd
does it matter what brand I get?
IDK about the water, it was just a thought....
see this is what I had in mind.... (to have the exhaust actually exit out the side of the boat, through the hull)
Thanks again for the future pics

I see now what you're talking about. First thoughts that come to mind are if you know a good welder you could take the Enforcer cannister (as its two peice ali) and move the tubes to the side. The top would need filling & then welding them in the side. Seems like a decent idea just some work.

thats what I was thinking... my moms brothers friend owns a metal welding and enodizing shop so maby he can fix me up...(I just found this out today)
But it would work right? is there any muffling equip. in the canister like a full scale muffler??
thanks

The first problem is that the engine is so far back, making the pipe stick way out the back. Use a 100-degree header with that pipe and move the engine forward and it will look right and work right. Really. Also need more prop - like maybe a prather 275 or 280.

it is a 270somethin, i miss typed earlyer
I know the engine is back far, but at this point I don't want to buy a new flex cable and tube after I spent about a month trying to get the ferrul to stay on.....
It works great now... just dosn't look right, the pipe dosn't really fit inside the boat, like its too wide, I would have to carve out the top wich is another thing I really don't want to do...
