30% nitro

I needed more fuel was running 20% nitro with 16% oil. K&b calls for 25% nitro lhs did not have any so I bought 30% nitro with 11% oil. How much richer should I run the high speed needle? should I do anything else. Also going to use it in my hammer.

Well 30% is ok, I run 30 in my Hammer with no problems. Not 11% oil though, so boosting it up a bit may be a good idea. You can run rich too, make sure you have good water flow cooling the head, & a hole in the canopy for air flow. Should not have any problems, next time try to get a little higher oil content. Wildcat Heli works great, 30% nitro and a higher oil content thats synthetic!

I have about 1/4 left in the other jug with higher oil content can I mix it with the new fuel to bring the oil up?

Which K&B engine do you have? The .21's love nitro and it's not unusual for them to run 50-60%. The oil is the biggest thing to worry about though, you want to be in the 18-20% range.
You didn't mention what size engine that you have. I run 45-50% nitro in all of my boats but that's me. These are from .12's to .45's.

The k&b is .45 and the hammer is .15 . I think I going to get some lube boost
to bring the oil contemt up. Thanks
