Zenoah question

I have a Zenoah engine I bought used from a guy and it is suppose to be a G-26 but I am not sure. How can I be sure which model it is?

Post a pic or two. If it is a newer 231 or 260 it will have 4 bolts holding the jug on. The older zenoah's had only 2.

Ray, please correct me if I'm wrong alright.

The 231 is a four bolt cylinder like mentioned above. It should have a hole in the cooling fin the diameter of a pencil lead located right of the exhaust port on the output shaft side. The 260 will not have it.

As long as the engine is the newer style 4 bolt....4 port engine it should be fine. If it is the older 230pum engine and he sold it as a G260 then there is a problem.
