Hi i own a Ko Propo EX-10 Radio and recently
it' behaving like Hell , i don't know why but the range of the radio reduced so much that i don't have any confidence in the radio no more. This once was Ko propo best model (before the EX-1 Mars) . I know that this radio can perform quite well, i've owned it for 8 years , i have bought 3 novak receivers to go with it (1 mercury FM and 2 XXL FM) i also bought many Ko propo 27MHZ crystals to go with that, i still got the original receiver that came with the radio to , the problem is the same with all the receivers and crystals sets , i think i will need to send back my radio for a check up, but i think this is wasting my money , since i could use this money to buy the new EX-1 mars instead of the EX-11 Presto, the thing is , my EX-10 has a memory for 6 models and the EX-11 only has 3 , so i'm confused
the thing is i'm stuck with Ko propo products since , i bought so much crystals and 27MHZ receivers :o
Here it goes, more overtime at work to afford all of this .
Thanks for any advice

I know this might sound too simple but check the tightness of the antennae and check all the batteries.

Ok so you've ruled out crystals. That's the biggest thing. Have you checked the batteries in the transmitter? If one has gone dead but the others are still good the voltage may be low enough to drasticly shorten the range but still be enough to work.
If you can't figure out the problem get the EX-1 Mars in 27Mhz. You'll get all the model memory and two more and probably several more features.

Zod, before you give up on the radio, contact the service center. They are usually pretty reasonable about repairs. They just might surprise you.

Railman's right, I had an EX-11 do something like that a few years ago, & it was simply some solder joints go bad. The service guys just resoldered the boards in it & it has worked perfectly ever since(& they didn't even charge me anything for it)..... :)
