Whenever I bleed my shocks on my rc10gt, they always sound squeaky and airy. And they arent very smooth. And how often should I change the oil or do a rebuild.

If you want to rid your shocks of that airie feel buy a set of shock bladders. Fill your shocks about 3/4 full then slowly push the shaft up and down in order to remove any air from under the piston. Next with the shaft pushed in about 3/8 to 1/2 inch fill the shock to the rim. Place the bladder on the shock, displacing a small amount of fluid. Finally cap the shock being careful not to lift the bladder and trap air in the shock. If done correctly this method will yield smooth consistant suspension movement without any squishy sounds coming from your shocks. As for how often to rebuild I do mine when any one of my shocks begins to feel inconsistant or different from the other shock onthe same end of the vehicle. Hope this helps, Good luck.

If you wnat to try another method, with your shock cap off, work the piston a few times to try and get the air to the top. Add what iol is needed (fill to the top). For me, my piston has to be almost all the way up when I put the cap on. If the piston is down, it traps air, and I get a real hard spot before the shock bottoms out. As you screw your cap on, a little shock oil should seep out. That'a good. When the cap is tight, work the piston a few times, and it SHOULD be smooth and consistant. All shocks have some amount of leakage. Alta-b3racer's method to check the shock is good.
