hey guys it's me bjcri435 with a new name anyway my mother decided to dust my bookcase where my shockwave 36 was sitting on the top shelf and she knocked it off and it hit the floor (the wood floor) cracking a large chuck out of the nose I was wondering is there a hull that i could use most of my sw36 running gear in maybe a little better hull i want to keep in the 36 inch range help me out guys thanks

Hmmm. Maybe try an Aeromarine Challenger 31" (I'm assuming you want to stay with a deep vee) or scorpion .21/.45. Another option would be the Titan .40. Another way would be to build an enlarged version of a Wild Thing (or another boat from plans) - that would probably run well.

A good .21 sized hull would be your best choice as the engine isn't that much of a powerplant. Hopefully the engine rails in the SW 36 were set up for 4" motor mounts as that would really help with moving the engine.
If you like Aeromarine hulls, the Titan 21 would be a nice one to choose from. You going to have to do some mods to your present driveline to get things hooked up but nothing major with whatever your choice may be.

hey thanks ron i think thats what ill do mom is buying since she killed my boat shoud i stay with the 12 oz tank with cap or go with a sullivan.?????

You might be better off with the Sullivan as you won't be able to get to the screw-on or flip-up cap very easily as it'll be under the deck.
