Sucks? No more than having to use a glo starter each time, how long's it gonna take, half a second? I'd be more worried about how well it seals and stays locked in. If it pops off on a run then you've got a high performance motor using high nitro content with no cooling. That would not be good.

Jerry Dunlap is doing some testing with one right now so expect to see an article on it in an upcoming issue of RCBM. He forgot to screw the cap on over the glow plug once and pumped a lot of water into his test hull. He wouldn't say what the hull was either but he wasn't confirming or denying either that it was a .21 mono that may or not be coming out from Aquacraft.
A water-cooled glow plug is nothing new as I've seen a few of them around but this is the first one that I've seen where the water intake is on the cap. You can run a much leaner carb setting this way and save some plugs in the process. Jerry was also working on finding the right plug for it.
There have been a few on eBay also already.
