MHZ has a new gas turbine engine, maybe a couple of those. I'm pretty sure a 92" cat can handle 2 of them.

Sure, if you can afford them (probably about 5k each - Ouch). It also only puts out 7.4hp - for that price, just get a different engine. I would personally go for the twin 35's - they should really get it moving. Counter rotating props would help stability and handling too. Awesome boat, and good luck.

Keep in mind Chris, The Q/d 35 is NOT a screamer, like the Z25. They develop their hp on the lower rpm. I was talking with Mitch, breifly about the 35's. He was sayin that he wants to give the 35 a facelift and change some things around with the engine. He was gion on about the connecting rod, and some other mumbo jumbo. Ta tell ya the truth. I really did'nt care, cause I do'nt own one. But ifin ya want to get the "fat/skinny" about em, give em a call. These guys like to talk!! 530-938-2485 Good luck, Brian :)

Yes, but the lower RPM (and bigger props) are exactly what is needed for this boat to really get moving.

What about a polini 50 or the mhz rotax?
