hate to sound mean but thats not a question you can give an answer to. Who's to say what engine builder is the best? One way to find out is to see whats winning races but that doesn't mean its always the best.

Yep i agree with dd. the fastest engine isnt always the best, it all depends on what its going to be used for and how you plan to use it.
If its straight line speed ya want then a very high timmed engine would be good. If its for racing around small circuts then alot of torque is better, its also not just the motor but the boat and the full setup and prop choice all blend in to make a good boat. You can get the best engine on the market, stick it in a hull and set it up all wrong and you will beaten by the boat with less power but is setup best. Not helpfull i guess but worth pointing out. You need to decide what its going in and what its going to be used for before you decide.
