Has anyone done it? If so how about some details. Just trying to decide if I should convert or buy a nitro touring car?

I would say buy a nitro touring car. The trinity conversion kit is nice but it pretty cramped and it doesn't have a 2 speed.

If you want a Nitro TC3 keep waiting. Associated is supposed to release a Nitro TC3 this Spring. This is actually their version and not a conversion. From the prototype pics I've seen in RCCA and on their website it looks like its going to have a 2 speed.

Can someone clear up the 2-speed thing for me? Do you need to manual switch gears or do you need an extra servo or what? I am looking into buying the Tamiya TG10, and I was just wondering what the difference is between a 2-speed and a car like the nitro TG10, which I think doesn't have a 2-speed transmission. Thanks.

when it gets up to a certain speed (that you can set) then it switches gears automatically
