View Full Version : Asheville, NC July 9, Parking Lot Race

Highland R/C Racers are holding the second Parking Lot Race (actually basketball court race) of the summer on Saturday, July 9th.
Track set up starts at 8am, practice and sign ups at 9, racing starts at 10.
Computer scoring, limited AC hook ups (come early!) Great traction!
Races are at the Asheville Recreation Park, Gashes Creek Road, in East Asheville. (just off Swannanoa River Road, next to the WNC Nature Center)
Members entry is $8.00 ($20 yearly membership) and $12.00 entry for non-members. Kids 14 and under race free!
Electric and nitro cars welcome. Track is 40'x80'

I had tons of fun last saturday Bob. I recommend anybody interested attend, you'll have a blast! great cars and a great track. Hope you have a good turnout this time Bob.

First there was one Associated car.... then there were a few more...*lol*
I know the brothers are ready for you! They had a great time last race, the main had them battling for the lead for half the race, it was great to watch.
Let's see if we can get a 20 lap run on the books.

I would like to come but it is a bit of a drive form Monroe and I cant come the 6th but Ill try to some other time. Hope you guys have a blast!

it's gonna be a day/night double header for me. friday night in easley and saturday morning in asheville.. whoo hoo
