I'm haveing problems getting createx out of my hpa. I spoke with dixie-art and they said I could switch needles to either a .3mm or a .4mm. I want the finest lines I can get but I do not want to spend the $60 two times. Will the .3mm needle work for me or should I go with the .4mm??? what size needles is everyone using in there brushes.

I use an HPC and for 99% of my work, I use the .3. If you're planning on shooting metal flakes (large flakes), you'll want the .4 mm just to save you the headaches.

I'm a little confused. By metal flakes do you mean the flakes you add to the paint or, paint like the "pearl". What paints do you have problems with.
thanks very much Piggy.(I know I can trust you cause you have the same name as my wife!!! :D

You call your wife Piggy? :D :D If I called my wife piggy, I'd find myself lying on the floor in a pool of blodd.
The larger metal flake paints can be a huge pain. The pearls usually aren't that bad, but some can be. It's more pigment dependant, IMO. I can spray pearl green with no problems, but can't spray a metallic or pearl blue to save my butt. Even with the larger needles, you can still trick your brush to spray somewhat fine. Lower the pressure, thin the paint a bit more, and spray a hair closer than normal. It's just going to take a bit of practice to get used to the different paints.
